Thank you!!

Thank you to EVERYONE that sent postcards to me for my School Project Mail Art Call. The project went extremely well, and the kids were all impressed by the amazing art that has been sent to me from people from all around the world.

I went from class to class - and showed the kids ALL my postcards, envelopes & weird n wonderful mail art - this was a hands-on show n tell - the kids were encouraged to pick up & touch & read everything. They went through all my folders of ATCs as well, and found many ideas for their own mail art. Then a week later I went back to one of the classes (of the teacher that arranged for me to show my mail art), and helped the kids to make their own fabric postcards and ATCs - what a lot of fun!!!

And now I have to make a start on posting pics of the postcards that you all sent me - I'm sorry that I haven't done it sooner, but life got in the way. I'll also start sending out return postcards, so watch your mailboxes!! BUT, please accept this as a public thank you for the moment, and I'll get back to you all asap. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
